Born in Detroit, Michigan, Montie first began acting in theatre at age 5. For years, Montie worked in the deaf community and speaks sign language. He studied acting at Goteri Creative Arts under Rich Goteri. Montie is married to Carol and they have two boys just as good looking as their dad. In addition to acting, Montie is a screenwriter, music producer, and recording artist. His favorite artist is Prince, but we can't get Montie to wear the pants with the butt-cheeks out
